What exactly is a ceramic coating?

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle's factory clear coat, creating a permanent layer of protection. It uses SiO2 (silica) technology to make your paint hydrophobic — meaning water, dirt, and road grime bead up and roll right off. Unlike wax which sits on top and wears away, ceramic coating actually bonds to the surface and lasts years.
How long does the ceramic coating process take?

Depending on the package and the amount of paint correction needed, the process typically takes 1–3 days. We come fully equipped to your location — all we need is a shaded area or covered parking spot to work in. We'll give you a specific time estimate when you book.
Does ceramic coating prevent scratches?

Ceramic coating adds a hard 9H layer of protection over your clear coat, which does help resist light scratches, swirls, and marring from everyday washing. However, it is not scratch-proof. Deep scratches from keys, rocks, or parking lot incidents can still penetrate through. Think of it as a strong shield, not an invisible forcefield.
Will ceramic coating protect against rock chips?

No — ceramic coating is not the same as Paint Protection Film (PPF). It won't stop rock chips or heavy road debris. If you want full impact protection, PPF is the right solution for that. Ceramic coating focuses on chemical protection, hydrophobics, and gloss enhancement.
How long before I can wash my car after coating?

We recommend waiting at least 7 days before washing your vehicle after a ceramic coating is applied. The coating needs time to fully cure and bond to the surface. During this time, avoid car washes, rain exposure when possible, and don't let bird droppings or tree sap sit on the paint. After the cure period, your car will be much easier to keep clean.
Do I need paint correction before a ceramic coating?

For most vehicles, yes — and we include a 1-step paint correction with our 3-Year Ceramic Coating and 5-Year Ceramic Coating packages. Ceramic coating locks in whatever condition your paint is in, so if there are swirls or scratches, they'll be sealed under the coating permanently. New vehicles don't typically need correction, which is why we offer our New Car Package without it.
What's the difference between your coating packages?

The main difference is the thickness of the coating and how long it lasts. 3-Year Ceramic Coating is a 3-year single-layer coat — great for leases or if you plan to sell soon. 5-Year Ceramic Coating is our 5-year package and is our most popular — wheel and glass coating are available as add-ons on any package. The New Car Package is our most comprehensive option at $999+ — ceramic coat everything, paint, trim, wheels, and glass on a brand new vehicle before the elements touch it.
Is a deposit required to book?

Yes — all services require an appointment and deposit to secure your booking. This protects both your time and ours. When you book through our Square link, you'll be prompted to provide your deposit. The remaining balance is due at the time of service.
Do you come to me or do I drop off my car?
↓
We come to you — 100% mobile. We bring our own water, power, and all equipment. All we need is a shaded area or covered spot at your home, driveway, apartment, or job site. No drop-off, no waiting at a shop. You go about your day and we get to work.
